Long before Leo Fender built electric guitars, he built Hawaiian steels.
Fender's steel guitars featured single, double, triple and quad necks. Various scale lengths, 6 and 8 strings, and several pickup configurations. Production changes often blended the lines between the various models.
The Dual 6 Professional is often confused with the Stringmaster model because it has the same "features".
This includes 2 single coil pickups per neck; control knobs for pickup balance under the bridge cover; script logo decal on front; and standard 22 1/2" scale. It is incorrectly called the Stringmaster D-6!Vintage
