Stars for the Hawaiian Steel Guitar Showcase

Stars have been added to the Hawaiian Steel Guitar Showcase's Virtual Tip Jar.
Facebook Stars is a fun way for viewers of the Showcase livestreams to show their support by sending Stars to the livestream.
Depending on how the livestream is viewed (Smartphone, desktop computer, etc.) the option to send stars may be available via the livestream comments. If available, it will appear as a variation of a Star icon next to the Comments area.

Facebook Stars will supplement existing Virtual Tip Jar options that include Venmo, PayPal, and Apple Pay.
Facebook Stars can be prepurchased directly from Facebook or through Apps in Google Play or the Apple Store at slightly higher commission rates. Facebook Star purchases can be made at https://m.facebook.com/STAR/.
If attempting to send Stars with an insufficient balance, an option will be presented to connect to an app to purchase additional stars.
Each star is worth one cent, so sending a virtual tip of 200 stars to the performance is tipping $2.00 to the performance creator HIMELE.
Facebook Stars can be used to support any livestream broadcast that offers that option to the viewer.
