Headliners for 2023 Steel Guitar Experience Announced

The featured steel guitarists for the 2023 Hawai‘i Island Steel Guitar Experience have been announced.

The 4-hour Ho‘olaule‘a concert on Friday, December 15, 2023, will feature steel guitarists from Hawai‘i Island as well as O‘ahu and Maui.

Moku o Keawe artists include Pomai Brown, Dwight Tokumoto, and Ke Kula Mele NextGen Alumnus Ethan Goore.

O‘ahu steel guitarists include Alan Akaka, Bobby Ingano, and Ke Kula Mele NextGen Alumnus Mālie Lyman. Geronimo "Geri" Valdriz from Maui will also perform.

NextGen keiki steel guitarists may perform during the main concert and will perform at Saturday's Open Stage at the resort's Surf Shack. NextGen steelers include Hi‘ipoi Lindsay, Enosa Lyman, Tai Misailidis, Makamae Lyu-Napoleon, and Isabella Bertelmann.

Open Stage signups are ongoing. A few performers have already signed up for this year's event.
