Here is the latest news about HIMELE's steel guitar festivals and events.
Hawai‘i Island Steel Guitar Experience
Steel guitarist Ethan Goore will perform in this year's festival Ho‘olaule‘a, filling in for Kalei Yamanoha who is unable to participate. Ethan will also be one of the performers on the festival's Open Stage.
This year's Open Stage performers include Kevin Speyer, Vickie Van Fechtmann, Daniel Toft, Ethan Goore, and NextGEN steel guitarists Charlie Ahuna, Isaac Woodward and Hi‘ipoi Lindsey.
Both Friday's Ho‘olaule‘a concert and Saturday's Open Stage performances will be livestreamed on the Hawaiian Steel Guitar Showcase media platforms on Facebook and YouTube.
